Chief Parsons House Fire
My dad, Judsonia Police Chief Robert Parsons, suffered a devastating house fire overnight December 6th, 2020. Thankfully, he is okay. But he lost everything. In his 30 plus years as a police officer, he’s helped many people and now he could use a little help recovering and rebuilding.
If you’ve met my dad, you know he’s full of warmth and security. Any time I have a crisis, he’s the first person I call. He’s the best at reminding you that you can handle whatever life has thrown your way. And he’ll be by your side to help any way he can.
At times in my life, I’ve resented that I have to “share” my dad with the greater community. But sacrifice is in his blood. He hasn’t met his newest grandson because his community needs him and the Covid risk is unavoidable in police work. He spent November recovering from on duty Covid and the Flu. No complaints. No blame. Just eager to get back to his community and those who need his help.
And now he could use some help. 2020 has been tough on many, but if you’re able, please consider donating to help my dad during this difficult time.
