Help Revolutionize K-12 Education

Children today face a huge obstacle for developing a relationship with the one true, and living God due to a lack of Godly examples and sound teachings. Man is born spiritually and physically separated from God. That separation widens each minute of the day capitalized by a socially infused generation filled with self-idolization and self-promotion. How can a child growing up in this culture fully represent God according to Genesis 1:27,  "So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them" (NKJ)... if they never come to the full knowledge of Him who was, is and is to come?

The Word proclaims mankind, both male and female, is to be in the image and likeness of God. According to Strong's definition, image means "representative figure".  Stated differently, man and woman (boys and girls) are the beginning place for God to reveal Himself on earth as it is in heaven.  Further, understanding Genesis 1:28 instructions is even more profound in that we are commanded by God to subdue the earth.  It is important to note that in order to act on the action "subdue", something must be subdued.  Stated differently, something or someone is hostile in this present earth and must be conquered. If children are not developing in sound biblical doctrine during their K-12 development years, we leave them unprotected and defenseless in battle. Let's start redeeming time now, where time is most spent outside the home:  school.

Now, I am going to ask you to imagine a few things. Each thing I speak of, I ask that you pause and mediate on it. You will be surprised how far away we (mankind) are, as God's greatest formation during creation, from teaching our children in the ways of Christ (Deut 11:18-19): 

- Imagine a school that pursues God; His will, and His kingdom above all things

- Imagine that same school, nurturing your child's spiritual development in true knowledge and wisdom, according to the Holy Scriptures

- Imagine that same school, teaching your sons to be young boys--- who will one day become men and husbands

- Imagine that same school, teaching your daughters to be modest girls--- who will one day become women and wives of virtue according to Proverbs 31

- Imagine that same school, providing specialized, individual training during school hours to eliminate reading and learning struggles. Taking an individualized approach to solve the root cause of each child's learning struggles and thereby increasing self-esteem and confidence

- Imagine that same school, cultivating a biblical view of the world 7-8 hours per school day (minimum 1,190 hours compared to 0 hours in a non-Christian private or public K-12 setting).  With this level of school priority, combined with home and church teachings, we can turn the hearts of children back to the Father as God intended by spending time developing and cultivating a relationship with Him

- Imagine that same school, teaching a world-class K-12 Christian curriculum integrated with a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) program designed to encourage and inspire innovation, creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and communication--- all high skills needed in this technology-centered society

- Imagine that same school, with flexibility for high school juniors and seniors to receive college credits or even graduate high school with an Associates degree; thus providing an immediate advantage for entering the job market and/or continuing towards a Bachelor’s degree in less time and associated costs

What's our call to action behind this funding campaign? For all who read this, we ask that you help us revolutionize education by donating towards the vision of this school for both believing and unbelieving families in the north suburbs of Dallas, Texas (Collin County).

Please note, funds raised through this campaign will go towards start-up costs associated with providing building facilities, classroom/office furniture, curriculum, technology, classroom supplies, and other one-time costs towards providing a safe, secure, and inspiring learning environment to kick off an inaugural school year.  This school is the future for our children as we seek to prepare students for the ultimate success in this life, eternal life with Christ as the King.  If our children do not make it into the kingdom, we have failed in our commandment by God as parents and as a universal church body.  Emergent Cornerstone Academy strives to be a true extension of our mandate to train up children in the ways of Christ.  We need your help to bring this K-12 school vision to fruition and introduce the living Savior to many students passing through the doors of our school.
