CHIEFS' Campaign-Regional Fire Training Facility
Tax deductible
Want to make a difference in the continued training and education of the county's fire service? You can make a difference by donating today to the Darke County Association of Fire Chiefs (DCAFC). DCAFC has launched its CHIEFS' (Communities Helping Improve Education of the Fire Service) campaign for the Darke County Regional Fire Training Facility. DCAFC represents 21 fire departments serving all of Darke County and portions of Mercer, Miami, Preble, and Shelby Counties. Collectively, we have 465 firefighting personnel serving a population of about 94,877. Fabricated from new shipping containers, the live-fire training facility is estimated at $750,000.00 (does not include additional costs for infrastructure). Yes, we need to raise more than one million dollars! We hope to raise $100,000 through the GoFundMe platform. Considering the total population of the communities we serve, we believe it can be achieved. For more information on the training facility, including sponsorship levels, please visit our website at https://www.darkecountyfirechiefs.org/
Any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this project which means so much to us.
