Hello everyone, I am Alexandrea Jones-Sparks, the owner & Director of The Learning House Early Childcare Center. Owning a school and being an educator is my absolute passion. From teaching in our school to youth ministry leadership, the love I am able to pour into our children brings light to my heart. I am equally as passionate about supporting my husband in serving our underserved community with free summer camp, cultural festivals, back to school extravaganzas, local parades, and more. Due to a recent burglary at our childcare center, we are left feeling violated and disheartened. Items that were stolen include, food, drinks, preschool toys, books, emergency backpack stocked with emergency essentials, digital lamp, essential oil diffuser, diapers, wipes, and alexa echo dot. As a safe space for families, our mission has always been to provide enriching experiences while exceeding developmental and educational expectations through family engagement.

The stolen items were essential to our daily operations and the valuable experiences we strive to offer each child entrusted to our care. We were unable to recover all of our property, but by God's grace we are safe, our students are safe, and the burglar has been arrested after being caught by my husband as he was getting our student's breakfast due to groceries being stolen. Your support will help us replace these vital resources swiftly so we can continue our mission without disruption.
