Childhood Cancer Awareness Month Fundraiser
Every year, an average of 15,700 kids are diagnosed with cancer in the United States. I became one of those kids on March 30 of this year. Childhood cancer is not rare. Yet, only four percent of the money that the National Cancer Institute gets from funding from the Federal government goes to childhood cancer. Childhood cancer is severely underfunded, and there are very limited treatment options for many types of childhood cancer.
In honor of September being Childhood Cancer Awareness month, I am raising money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. St. Jude is paving the way for groundbreaking children's cancer research, and they won't stop until no child dies of cancer. I hope you will join me this month in raising money for this cause. Any donation helps and is greatly appreciated, thank you in advance!
