Children Achieve Their Sporting Dreams

Hi there,

My name is Callum - In May 2023 I am setting off to Tanzania, via South Africa and Namibia - where I plan to team up with a gentleman called Raphael and teach children, teenagers and women how to play football.

Raphael is an integral part of the community and in 2018 founded an organisation (Charity Academy for the New Charity School and Sport Project) to help the town and surrounding areas. There are a large number of uneducated youth and women, and to keep them away from gangs and other unpleasantries from the streets, we will be teaching them the art of the world's game, football.

Whilst my travel is fully self-funded, I am unable to solely provide for all the equipment that is integral to this program. The funds that are raised here will be used for a variety of sports equipment, including but not limited to; boots, goalposts, appropriate football clothing, balls (of course!) and copious amounts of training equipment. The funds would also help with the logistical side of transporting all acquired equipment to Tanzania, which i'm sure you can appreciate is not something that can be done easily.

Football is the biggest passion of mine, and having come so close to a professional career myself, this is surely the next best thing. Any help that can be provided to his cause will go a long way to putting smiles on the faces of those who otherwise might not have this opportunity.
