SLO chief loses gun, rips Orndoff family apart

My two children were placed in foster care and my dog was taken to the pound after San Luis Obispo Chief of Police Deanna Cantrell left her gun in a restaurant bathroom and misidentified me as the person who found and took it.
The chief then sent officers to my home without a warrant. They claimed I was on probation, and that they did not need a warrant. I am not on probation. They had a right to raid my home. They poured trashcans on the floor looking for the chief's gun, before taking photos to make us look messier. They also left our refrigerator open so when we bailed out of jail, our food was rotten.
To support her illegal entry into my home, her officers arrested my wife and I for child neglect because of the dirty home.
Even though the chief now admits I was not on probation and all evidence of a dirty home should be discarded, she wants to prosecute based on her officers' belief that a mistake in the probation records is reason for her officers not to need a warrant.
Two years ago, I was the victim of a crime. Someone in San Luis Obispo County government accidentally listed my name as the defendant in the county probation system. I was fired from my job and have been working for two years to correct this.
I recently graduated from Cal Poly Summa Cum Laude, but this report has kept me from getting a job.
Now that I have been arrested, the county now admits my name was wrongly put into the probation record system.
I am fighting to get my children and my dog back. We need money for legal bills and to get our house in order. A lawyer, Peter Depew is doing our criminal case pro bono. But we need money for expert witnesses and lab tests. They took a photo of a pudding cup spilled on our daughter's bed. And even though the pudding cup and spoon were right there, they put in their report that it was feces. We need to have a lab test it to show the truth.
Our home needs several repairs done before we can hopefully bring our children home. We also need a family court attorney and the funding to hire that attorney to protect our rights in family court.
We also need some household items such as a couch, a twin bed, a dresser, four dining chairs, and a stove(our stove is broken). You can message me on Facebook if you are able to help us with any of these items
We want to thank everyone who has helped us.
