Healing and Learning: A Path to Recovery for Lebanon’s Children

Lebanon is on the path to recovery, with schools now fully reopened, offering children the stability they need. However, many students continue to lag behind in their studies, while others still carry the emotional impact of the crisis. The journey to full recovery, both academically and emotionally, is ongoing.

Teach For Lebanon (TFL) is committed to ensuring that every child in Lebanon receives the education and support they need to heal and thrive. This year, our 100 Fellows will play a key role in helping students catch up on their studies and regain their confidence.

How will TFL Fellows support students during this crucial recovery period?

Expanding the Classroom: Fellows will continue to provide academic support through flexible learning environments, ensuring children can continue their education, no matter their circumstances.

UNICEF Hotline Recovery Program: Through our partnership with UNICEF, we offer academic support over the phone, helping students stay engaged and on track with their studies.

Education in Emergencies Program: TFL Fellows will implement Social Emotional Learning strategies to help children cope with the emotional challenges they’ve faced, while also addressing their academic gaps.

Return to Schools: Fellows will return to their partner schools to support students, helping them catch up on missed lessons and providing a nurturing environment for learning.
