Children in orphanage Mauritius

Dear All,

Every child has the right to education, shelter, food, water, clothing, and healthcare.

No child should live in poverty.

WE can make a difference. WE can bring back hope and put a smile on their faces.

WE can change the course of their lives. Because together, WE can.

As a part of WE Champions International, based in Mauritius, Africa, we have targeted an Orphanage to assist.

One of the most under-served communities in Mauritius is the Panchavati Laborer's Village in North-East Mauritius.

Here is where all of the homes are made of corrugated tin to form a home. One of the labor's (who asked to remain anonymous) opened his home to homeless orphans. They sleep on cardboard on the floor, and sponge pads fall apart. They need beds, clothing, and food to make their living decent.
