Children in Victoria Falls

Elly (Cockcroft) and Katherine (Lunn) and their families are travelling to Victoria Falls this October half term to Chidobe school. 24 years ago our brother, Alex, sadly passed away of meningitis at the age of 16. At the time our parents were travelling in Victoria Falls and had visited Chidobe school. When they returned to the UK they decided to support Chidobe school in memory of Alex.

Since, we have raised money to support the building of a new classroom block, provided a water pump to supply clean water to the school, built sports facilities, provided school uniforms and educational materials. In addition we have supported girls in going to secondary school and delivered feeding programs to provide the children with at least one meal a day.

This October we will be returning with our children, which we hope will be a valuable life experience for them. Whilst we are there will be visiting the school to provide further support. We would love your support to raise £500 to go towards new books, further equipment that is needed in the school and the feeding program.

We personally ensure all money goes directly to the school.
