GIVE THE GIFT THAT LASTS A LIFETIME...EDUCATION

Please join us in our effort to support the children of New Dawning Christian School in San Juan La Laguna, Guatemala. The school receives no government assistance, and yet it provides education for 250 children in grades pre-school through middle school. Your donation will be used to support teacher salaries, provide educational supplies, and academic and economic need scholarships.

WHAT IS THE GOAL OF THE FUNDRAISER?

TEACHER SALARIES. The teachers and administrators at the school currently are paid $150 a month...yes, $150 a month. It is difficult to survive on that money. A gift of $125 would be enough to increase the salary of one teacher by 10% for a year. A gift of $2000 would enable us to raise the salary of every teacher and administrator by 10% for an entire year! A little money goes a long way!

TUITION SUPPORT AND ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS. Many families find it difficult to pay the small $5 a month tuition at the school. $50 would pay the tuition of one student for a school year. And a $100 academic scholarship might be the thing that enables a gifted student to continue to study, by paying enrollment and some tuition at the next level of studies.
