Children of Officer Portz Education Fund

My name is Jessica Portz,  I am the wife of fallen Officer Thomas Portz Jr of the Baltimore City Police Department.  Tommy and I were married for 9 years and had 3 children before his passing in 2010.  Since then I have done my best to raise my children to be the best that they can be, not without its challenges.  Here we are 9 years later and our oldest child Kirstin is getting ready to go off to college this fall.  She has been accepted to her first choice Towson University in Maryland and plans to be a physician's assistant.  After my husbands passing we were told that the children would qualify for the Edward T. Conroy Memorial Scholarship which is set up to cover the tuition of the children of fallen officers that worked in the state of Maryland, any of it's city and local departments who will be attending school at a Maryland school.  After her acceptance I began the process of gathering information for scholarships.  While doing so I learned that even though my husband worked and died while on duty in Baltimore Maryland, my children are not in fact eligible for this scholarship because we do not live in Maryland, but live just north in Pennsylvania.  I am now trying to raise money to pay for her and her siblings tuition.  Any donation is more then appreciated.  My children and I could not be more grateful for any assistance.   Thank you to all that are will you help!
