Uganda Mission with Father Seamus- St. Francis Ann Arbor

When our daughter Ava was in 6th grade at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School in Ann Arbor, her wonderful teacher, Mr. Patrick Laughlin, decided to raise funds for an incredible non-profit organization called Children Waiting Everywhere, founded by Ms. Naomi Corera.

Ava and her classmates did a multitude of activities and fundraisers to help build and expand classrooms for the students in Uganda. This year, that tradition continued as the 6th graders at St. Francis again raised funds, but in this instance, to help purchase water tanks for the community in Uganda as they do not have access to running water.

The influential work of Ms. Naomi and Children Waiting Everywhere has lit a spark at St. Francis inspiring Father Seamus and myself to go on mission, preach the good news of the Lord, help build the schools that the St Francis community raised money for, and be a witness of hope. On Easter night, April 20th, Father and I will fly to Uganda and with your support I know we can make an even greater impact in these communities and for these children.
