We are a team of filmmakers and community leaders fundraising for a short film entitled CHILDREN OF WAR, inspired by Film Director, Arnold Chun's father's childhood story of survival as an orphan during the Korean WarCHILREN OF WAR is not about heroes or battles but about the personal journey which is uniquely told and never has been done as a feature film through the Eyes of Four Children during the Korean War. It's a snapshot of their lives as they emotionally and physically navigate and endure a turbulent time.

Arnold Chun's Father, Mr. Chun

CHILDREN OF WAR shows a deeper universal theme of rejection, abandonment, and betrayal. The Band of Orphans do not fully grasp the gravity of the devastation and trauma happening around them both externally and internally, yet they have a will to survive with the hope of someday finding their families.

CHILDREN OF WAR highlights the innocence of children amidst the brutalities of war and serves as a poignant reminder of the humanitarian crisis that comes with every conflict. It also mirrors current global events, portraying the urgent need for compassion, aid, and support for displaced children of war around the world. In conjunction, we want to remember and honor the legacy of those who survived the Korean War and fought for the freedom to preserve the Korean culture for future generations.

Korean War Orphans (1950 - 1953)

The Korean War has been coined "The Forgotten War" but we believe through the visual story telling based on and inspired by this true story as a feature film it will be one that we will always remember what Korea endured to become the most thriving world economy it is today.

We hope that with being able to secure the funding that is needed right now, we can make it in time for the 75th Anniversary of the Korean War in June 2025. We will be able to Create a lasting Legacy for all who have been impacted by the Korean War and to serve as a channel to continue to Educate and Build Bridges between Generations and Cultures.

Global Participation and Support from over 18 Countries during the Korean War

Your Tax Deductible Contribution TODAY will help us make this Dream into a Reality and allow us to Film in Korea with our Casting and Locations already in place. The CHILDREN OF WAR short film will ultimately serve as a calling card to produce the Major Feature film that will complete the full story of the journey of Arnold Chun's Father and his Family.

President - David Pickett, Korean War Veteran Members, Honorary Korean Consul General - Las Vegas - Joseph Campos, and Former President - Jeffrey Brodeur, Korean War Veterans Association (KWVA) National Conference October 2024, Las Vegas, NV

We look forward to going above and beyond the film by continuing to establish and grow key strategic partnerships with educational and cultural institutions and offer important scholarships that will help inspire and continue the legacy of the Korean War for future generations to come.
