Dream Foundation: Education Funding for Children in Nepal

Kate:
Hello everyone! During this beautiful season of giving I am reminded of how thankful I am to be a witness to the beauty of free education and growth as a teacher in California. I am honored to serve my community in this way. For many children around the world, education is not free. This is the reality in Nepal. Despite education being mandatory in Nepal, one must pay for one's education and food is not included. This, along with a variety of other factors results in 3 out of 10 children going without education.
After spending time in Nepal with my extraordinarily generous sister Ku-sum who's personal project led to us sending 3 young children to a boarding school for a full education and a healthier present and future, the Dream Foundation has blossomed into a successful support for families and children in need of assistance.
It is with love that we ask for you to add these children to your Christmas list this year! A small gift would make an everlasting positive impact on the lives of these three scholars!
We are here fundraising to send 7 children to school. In the near future, we will be able to help many more children who are waiting their turn, but for now, we can start by helping these 7 bright individuals!
In the mountains of Nepal, there is a hostel and school completely free to children in need. Ama-lak (mother) and Pa-lak (father) who run this boarding school only ask for help feeding the three children we enrolled back in July, 2023.
To feed 1 child costs 40$ every month which means it costs 120$ for all 3 children every month until these finish secondary school. Originally we were going to take on this cost alone, but I want to offer our communities an opportunity to love these children with us. How awesome would it be to be able to deliver this gift to a mother and father who give everything they have to care for the children of Nepal? How amazing to give the gift of peace and opportunity to children who have experienced significant struggles and hardships in their young lives?
Let us show these three children love and hospitality and give them the education we all received.
Blessings to all and thank you for your kindness!
