ChildVision

Hey everyone!

My name is Louise, and I'm doing a charity Skydive from 10,000ft, freefalling for 5,000ft for ChildVision - National Centre for Children and Young People with Sight Loss and Complex Needs.

Childvision holds a special place in my heart as my daughter Selena has attended the Early Years Centre in it for the last 2 years and has come on leaps and bounds with all their help. We'd honestly be lost without every member of staff and all their help!

ChildVision is located in Drumcondra, Dublin 9 and also has a centre in Cork. It is Ireland’s only dedicated centre for children with sight loss, some also have profound sensory impairments and additional disabilities.

They also have onsite nursing which amazing if your child needs to take regular medications or is peg fed, which is brilliant as it means all children have a chance to go to school, make friends, and celebrate all their achievements no matter what the child's needs are.

If you are able to donate anything at all it would be much appreciated. It will go directly to this amazing school that does absolutely outstanding work.

Also, if your ever planning a day out and are in and around the Dublin 9 area, they have a small petting farm and cafe and a lovely garden centre. A real hidden gem!
