Chilly’s Emergency Medical Care

There are not many people in Hudson that don’t know the “huge heart” of

the selfless animal advocate, Angela Fellrath. I can’t begin to list the numerous hours she has given of her time to help a stranger with a lost or injured pet, stayed awake all night on a “stake-out” to save an animal, patiently tamed the “feral” or offered her immeasurable knowledge to anyone in a situation needing animal help and advice.

Friends, this time it’s Angela who needs us. We have felt her heartbreak as her beloved fur-baby Chilly accidentally slipped out the door. Angela was crushed but never gave up. After 8 long weeks, the countless hours of searching paid off as Chilly made his way home.

There is no doubt he knew where HOME was as stumbled through the front door and collapsed.

Chilly is now being cared for in the ICU at the Oakdale Emergency Hospital. I am cautiously optimistic in hearing his progress reports that he will be reunited with his Family. Anyone with pets knows the costs of routine veterinarian care, now imagine the cost of the life saving care that Chilly is receiving…
