Chime's Motorbike Fun Run
Chime is Ireland’s national charity for Deaf and Hard of Hearing people. Through advice, services and community they support those who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, while also championing for equal rights and advocating for full inclusion in every part of society.
This year our family was blessed with little Bonnie but shortly after she was born, we found out she was deaf and would require hearing aids. This was a worrying and stressful time for us and as a family we did not know anyone with hearing loss and had no idea what was ahead of us or what to expect.
We were given a great deal of literature to help us through our journey. Part of this was information about the wonderful organisation called Chime. What followed was outstanding - from home visits, to days out and even an newly diagnosed parent's weekends. We have been given such amazing support, connections and reassurances.
Seeing the truly exceptional work Chime does and firsthand experiencing it we wanted to help.
So join us this June 15th for a motorbike fun run. With the help of Dublin Harley Davidson and the HOG Gaelic chapter we are doing a motorbike ride out. There are loads of great motorbikes to see and a great drive for all participants.
So come help us raise some money and have a little fun for Chime.
