Chincoteague Ponies go to Kentucky!

The Chincoteague Pony Drill Team was started in 1998 with only one goal in mind... Show the world how talented and beautiful full grown Chincoteague ponies are! Since then, the drill team has performed up and down the East coast showcasing the amazing Chincoteague Pony by executing synchronized drills in front of crowds, putting on shows displaying each pony's unique talent, riding in parades, etc.

We are so excited to announce that this year, the Chincoteague Pony Drill Team has been invited to perform at the Kentucky Horse Park. The Kentucky Horse Park is an elite and educational showplace for horses and ponies of all breeds in the United States. This is a significant opportunity to show many people who have never seen or heard of a Chincoteague Pony just how smart and versatile they are "in person". But we need your help!

The Chincoteague Pony Drill team is composed entirely of volunteers! So we are asking the community and all Chincoteague Pony lovers for donations to help pay for gas, hay, and other expenses for this trip. We are extremely grateful for this opportunity and your support means so much to us!
