Chinderah flood victims Pete and Linda

Today I witnessed so much devastation, destruction and absolute heart ache from so many who have lost everything and only have the cloths on their back, today I also witnessed the most amazing overwhelming acts of kindness, love and super strength that I have never seen before from complete strangers joining together to help in what ever way they could in the small town of Chinderah NSW one of many towns hit so hard by these recent floods.

This photo is one of thousands of homes lost during these horrible floods, this is the home of a beautiful couples from Chinderah Northern NSW Pete and Linda Bale from Tweed shores Chinderah NSW.

On top of them losing their home both Pete and Linda are both suffering sufficient health issues with Pete having terminal cancer and Linda now also recently falling ill.

Unfortunately like many others who have lost their homes Pete and Linda do not have

flood insurance cover and this is because insurance companies do not cover most low lying level areas along any River in Australia even when these floods are called a once in a hundred year flood, this is not right the insurance companies get richer and the poor get poorer.

I personally feel that with the bushfires as many know so many victims did not see a single cent of the millions donated through charity’s so I have decided to put this out there if anyone would like to see where your donation would go this will go to helping re-build Pete and Linda’s home, as the water has completely destroyed the whole inside of their house and destroyed absolutely everything inside, Pete and Linda have suffered so much with Pete’s Terminal Cancer please help them to ease the burden of them having to find the funds to help rebuild their home on top fighting Pete’s terminal Cancer.

Please help even if it’s just the cost of a cup of coffee every single dollar will help.
