Chip in for the West family

A young girl suffered major burns yesterday (Friday, October 18) while escaping an explosion in her family home in South Whitley, Indiana.  16-year-old Summer West is currently undergoing burn treatment at a Fort Wayne hospital.  Summer's family's major focus at this time is her treatment and recovery.  While Summer recovers, WE can help the West family in other ways.   Their home has been leveled and they have lost most of their possessions.  As a long-time family friend, I hope we can all chip in to help this family with their immediate need for clothing, housing and medical expenses.  Summer's grandparents Delmer and Julie Owens will receive the money we raise and make sure Summer's parents are able to use it.
