Chip’s IMHA Fight
Donation protected
Karrie’s crazy, sweet, Chip has been diagnosed with severe anemia and IMHA, a very aggressive disease in which the immune system attacks its own red blood cells. The disease is known to come on quickly and without warning, and getting him the care he needs has come rapidly and at a high expense.
His best shot to get through this includes a weeklong stay in the ICU at VERG in Brooklyn where he is receiving blood transfusions, immune-suppressing drugs, testing, and other medications. He’s fighting hard and we hope he’ll make it out of this.
We want Chip to get the best chance to tackle his IMHA. As you can imagine, a multi-day stay in the ICU is enormously costly. Anything you might be able to donate to covering the cost of Chip’s care would be so generous and appreciated.

A message from Karrie:
Chip has been my best friend since he was 4 months old. He’s the most loyal little guy I could have ever asked for. He has more character in his 18 pound body than he knows what to do with. He’s as handsome as they come. He is my family.
He has helped me through so much in life. I could never repay him for the kindness and companionship he has given me. The only thing I can do is give him a fighting chance. It is nearly impossible for me to ask for help but for Chip— this is the exception. Words cannot express the gratitude any donation would mean to me. Love to all of you and your furry families.
