An at risk black trans member of the community is asking for help.

in 2022, Black Gxrl Sesh co-founder, Chi was diagnosed with a non cancerous disease only treatable by high risk surgery.

This has cost her countless visits to Urologists, where she faced systemic transmisogyny as a black trans woman navigating that healthcare space

Here's the story:

The doctor still not wanting to perform this surgery following her last appointment has caused her great grief and deep despair.

3 years later, her doctor still doesn't know exactly how to treat this and has unfortunately been experimenting countless prescription drugs in her body, greatly halting her Hormone Replacement Therapy.

the last ineffective solution was a $3000 Shockwave Therapy Treatment.

Also,

She was also given a week's notice to move out, late last October, causing her to miss out on work and losing her job, as a result. (facing housing insecurity? you're fired. lol) The landlord of her apartment has since then granted her an extension

(enough time to humanly relocate) but she has been facing financial instability since,

exhausting her credit and her family and close friends' support.

Transparently turning to community with this matter, she is hoping to find meaningful support in raising funds to help pay back this medical bill and foster closer care.
