Chiz and family to recover from devastating house fire

Some of you may or may not know, that in the early hours of Thursday morning our friend chiz (Rebecca Kingscott) and her children were woken with their home on fire. A living nightmare for them all.

The fire started in one of the children’s bedrooms and spread across the top floor of their home. They all thankfully got out safely, other than one of the children sustaining burns to her feet. Although truly thankful that they are all safe, their home has been severely damaged. Some items in the home are salvageable however all the children’s and Chiz’s bedrooms and contents have been destroyed. In true Chizie style she has played this down but having visited their family home today the true level of damage was utterly devastating.

As I’m sure you will agree, Chiz is always there for anyone in a moment of need and a well loved part of our community. I have put together this go fund me page to help raise money so Chiz can replace her and her children’s belongings, as well as all soft furnishings in her home and anything else her and her children may need.
