CHLOE DARNELL Help with laying this child to rest.

Hi my name is Tricia Hess I am the mother in law to Jessica Gearheart Chloe's aunt. Jessica Gearheart will be managing the funds . I am raising funds on behalf of Chloe's family to help put Chloe Darnell to rest. Chloe Darnell age 4 was a bright happy child who meet with a unhappy ending. She lived with her adult cousin who had custody of her. Family and Friends were becoming suspicious because they were unable to see or talk with Chloe the past month. With the help of the Whitley County Sheriff's Department they were able to do a well check on Chloe on 11/16/2023. At the time they were unable to find Chloe or her cousin. The Sheriff's Department was able to locate the aunt around 9pm. During the night they searched the area around the house and surrounded woods and were able to locate Chloe's body. Her cousin and her cousin's boyfriend have been arrested and charged with murder and other crimes. The money will be used to give Chloe a proper funeral and burial. Any remaining funds will be used to help with Chloe's siblings getting to the funeral. Chloe's has 5 siblings that live with Jessica under the custody of Chloe's grampa. We have been informed that Chloe's remains are being transported to Texas for further investigation in trying to find why Chloe was taken from us so soon. This process can take weeks or months. We will still be having a service when Chloe's remains are returned to us.

Im Chloe's aunt. Im trying to answer everyone's questions. But I don't even understand any of this my self. Brittany is Chloe's cousin. She and my dad got custody of all of my sisters kids. When the judge gave them custody Brittany was not homeless she was not on drugs. And she did have a job. So I don't know where that information came from. I have never seen or heard or even thought of Brittany doing any kind of drugs. The other kids are here with me and my dad. They live with me because my dad's health isn't the greatest and I help take care of the kids. Everyone is asking why we didnt do something sooner. Well we honestly we didn't know. Brittany manipulated all of us. Just 2 weeks ago Brittany asked me to help get Chloe's medical card fixed because she needed to take her for shots. This told me she's taking care of Chloe she cares about her going to the Dr. And she also asked me to help her sign up for cash assistance so she could get her car title done and get tags and insurance so she could get a job. I then asked who was going to watch Chloe. She said Adam or her neighbor or she would drop Chloe off to my aunt dessies while she worked. So this didn't make me question anything. Im the one that talked to Brittany almost everyday. Alot of days it was just a text message. And I personally did not know about Adams past. The day we contacted the police. The night before her sister Gabby called me Gabby was at my aunt dessies house (Gabby is now with me.) She was crying and all tore up. She said Alex the ex boyfriend told her Brittany told him on Nov. 4. That her and adam woke up one morning about a month ago and and the door was opened they havent been able to find chloe since. So my aunt and my niece then went to Adams and was asking to see Brittany and Chloe. He wouldn't let them. This was late at night. There was also so pretty bad FB messages that got sent to us. The messages was from Adam and alex. I cant say anything about them at this time because I gave them to the police they are part of the investigation. That night my aunt was questioning Alex about these messages and he got upset and left and was gone all night he wouldn't answer there calls or text this wasn't normal because Alex lived with my aunt. They called me again I kept trying to call and text Brittany I got no answer so I called the sherriff department. I got told you have to come to talk and to file anything. So my aunt and niece went into there office called me and put me on speaker. we all talked to him. He told us there is nothing he can do and nothing he will do. Brittany is a 24 year old woman and it seems like she doesn't want to be found. We then asked about Chloe she's only 4. He said nothing he can do about that either because Brittany has custody of Chloe. It just seems like Brittany has had a fallen out with us. He said he will try to get into contact with Alex because what Alex said about chloe missing for a month. But if Alex told him to kick rock then there was nothing he could do then. So this was the next day the day they filed the missing persons report. They done this because Alex came back to my aunt's said he would talk to the police so my aunt called the police and they filed the report after they talked to Alex. At this time I personally thought Brittany was missing also. The night they found Brittany she called me she said jess I'm scared the police was just her. She was crying and I could barely barley hear her. I said where are you. She said Corbin. The phone disconnected. I immediately called the detective on his cell phone. He didn't answer he finally called me back. I told him Brittany just called me she was crying said she was scared and cops were just there she was in Corbin. So I gave him the phone number and everything. I stayed on the phone with him. It was a few minutes. He then told me he got Brittany. She seems to be unharmed. He called me back about 10 minutes later asked me if I've told anyone he found Brittany I said just my niece and husband they are in the car with me. He said don't tell anyone else. So I didn't. He told me he's for sure he'll have me answers soon. He called me at 4:30 am told me he found Chloe's body and they are going to do an autopsy. This is when my heart shattered into a million pieces it seems like.

Chloe's parents lives in Louisville they are both addictive to drug.
