Help Chloe go to the dentist
Donation protected
To anyone who may care- I need some help for an issue that might seem a little silly. Allow me to introduce myself! My name is Chloe, and the least fun fact about me is I have really crappy teeth.
Here’s the story:
Due to a traumatic experience, I never went to the dentist as a kid, but my parents and I never noticed any issues. I took pretty good care of my teeth, always brushing twice a day and flossing the amount of an average child... Anyways none of that matters because several dentists have come to the conclusion that my silly little teeth were destined to be a breeding ground for cavities. With deep grooves, an acidic mouth, and a tendency to clench my jaw, there was no way to avoid the cavity problem. My first dentist visit at the age of 20 brought light to the whopping 19 cavities that fill my mouth.
After a few years of dental visits, a couple of botched procedures, and a few dentists with aligning opinions on the amount of work I need done, I am left with very few options. I am in need of at least four root canals, and a couple handfuls of routine cavity fills. All of this comes out to a whopping price of at least $16,000.
I am going to be honest, if I wasn’t in constant pain- most days unable to eat- I probably wouldn’t be asking you to consider sharing a dollar or two. This information- the amount of work, the unreasonable costs, the gut-wrenching pain, and the idea of sitting in the dentist’s chair even one more time is so overwhelming for me- which is why I have put this off for the last couple of years.
I am well aware there are much better things to give money to and many more people in need of support! So if this isn’t the cause for you, I completely understand. And if you do feel led, I would be so grateful if you even considered donating to help me fix up my teeth.
Thank you for reading, love you lots.
