Chloe Wiwchar Family

Hello my name is Chad Wegenast of Edmonton Alberta Canada and I have know Michael Wiwchar for over ten years through the Ironworkers local 720 we have worked together many times over the years and On Sunday April 15th 2018 Shortly before 11:00 pm  Michael Wiwchar’s 16 year old Chloe Wiwchar stepped off the city bus and while crossing the road with a marked lite up crosswalk a drunk driver struck Chloe with his truck and fled the scene.  An off duty police officer witnessed the event and followed the driver while on the phone with 911 . With deep sorrow Chloe died at the scene of the accident. She would have turned 17 years old in June and was a remarkable student at Victoria School of the Arts here in Edmonton Alberta . Chloe is survived by her mother Holly Lucier and Father Michael Wiwchar of Edmonton and a member of Local 720 Ironworkers. I have created this campaign to help support the family in this time of need, No parent should have to return to work after their child’s funeral ! Before I set up this campaign I called Michael directly and asked his permission to set up a go fund me page on his behalf and he was very great full . Chloe’s funeral is on April 20th in Edmonton and the following week I will be getting together with Michael Wiwchar so we can enter his banking info as the beneficiary to receive funds for the family . As for now the funds are held in trust with GoFundMe for I do not wish to bother the family during this grieving period to have him set up hid personal info as beneficiary So please send a donation of any amount your comfortable with and/or please share this post to help spread the message
