Chloe's Fight Against Hodgkin's Lymphoma
Donation protected
It all started May 2019...
As many of you know, I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma in May 2019 after several months of coughing fits, declining energy, rapid weight loss, etc. I went to several doctors appointments, tried countless "treatments", until finally one doctor took me seriously and ordered the right tests.
Since then I've had seen it all:
Chest tubes, biopsies, blood work, scans, lung function tests, chemotherapy treatments, immuno-therapy treatments, an autologous stem cell transplant...
DOCTORS. DOCTORS. DOCTORS.
Sadly, even AFTER all of that I'm STILL fighting. Despite all of it, the autologous stem cell transplant wasn't the end of my journey. It didn't work and that news crushed me.
So, we made a new plan. I begin work-up soon for a allogeneic stem cell transplant, a donor transplant. My donor is a 32 year old German male who is potentially saving my life.
Now friends, family, people who find this post... I ask for your help. It's not easy for me to do. I will be out of work and for how long it is unclear. Due to Covid-19 and when I returned to work, I may or may not qualify for Short Term Disability. I have bills, I have a family, and I want to contribute to my family.
So my ask of you, even if it's only $1... please help. I wouldn't be asking if I wasn't unsure of what my future holds. Keep me in your thoughts. I'll be doing this alone as visitors will not be allowed inside the hospital.
I thank you in advance.
Love, hugs, and cat fur... Chloe.
