Chloe's Half Ironman
I'm gearing up to tackle the Roadford Lake Half Ironman on May 19th in Devon.
For those not aware, a Half Ironman includes a 1.9 km open water swim, 93 km cycle, and is finished off with a gruelling 21 km run.
I also wanted to use this opportunity to help raise awareness and support for Cornelia de Lange Syndrome, a cause that has recently become important to me since my niece's diagnosis last year.
CdLS is a rare developmental disorder present at birth. The CdLS Foundation exists to ensure early and accurate diagnosis of CdLS throughout the world promoting research and enabling individuals, families, friends and professionals make informed decisions and plan for the affected persons present and future. For more information about CdLS and the great work the foundation does, please follow the link - https://www.cdls.org.uk/.
Once again, thank you for taking the time to read through and even donate, wish me luck (especially through the run).
