Be a joy maker - support ChoirBLAST

Donation protected
We need your help to make ChoirBLAST a success for the charities who will benefit, as well as for the choirs looking forward to sharing their joyful singing!

Donations large or modest are VERY welcome through this page, or to get involved officially, please check out the Sponsors page on our website!

Designed as a non-profit event, ChoirBLAST will be donating any proceeds to support a number of charities, primarily The Meath Epilepsy Charity & The Halow Project.

1000 singers are on their way to Godalming on Saturday 8th June!

ChoirBLAST 2024 - the event has doubled since its launch last year, meaning MORE choirs, MORE stages, and MORE JOY!

Our not-for-profit festival will take place on Saturday 8th June in gorgeous Godalming where ChoirBLAST will transform the town into a hub of pitch-perfect choirs, delicious food, and local market stalls offering hand-crafted goods.

This year’s festival will feature plenty of new acts, such as the BBC Gospel Choir Of The Year 2024 (Kudos Gospel Choir) as well as returning choirs like Tongue & Groove (Mayor of Waverley Penny Rivers’ 2023 favourite), Godalming, Guildford and Farncombe Jazz Choirs, and even a choir specially formed just of the choir leaders themselves! A total of 50 groups from all over the UK will join local performers for a whole day programme, presenting a range of music from jazz to rock, pop to blues, musical theatre, and everything in between, meaning there’s always something being performed that you’re guaranteed to love.

With performances across 7 stages in The Bury’s Field, The Wilfrid Noyce Centre, The Bandstand & The Phillips Memorial Cloister, there will be plenty of opportunities to enjoy the music.

ChoirBLAST is the biggest free, non-competitive choir festival in the UK (maybe the world!). Visitors do not need a ticket, instead, donations are welcomed at our entrance gates and around the site. Created to celebrate the joy of harmony singing, the event is not-for-profit, with funds raised going to The Meath Epilepsy Charity and the halow project. Both charities will also perform with their choirs at the event.

- Adam Duce (Cllr - Godalming, Holloway), Mayor of Godalming - "This event offered something different, unique, focused solely on voice…. The joy and positivity is definitely something I took from it.” “I hope this event goes from strength to strength!”

- Lucy Miguda, Head of Fundraising, The Meath Epilepsy Charity: "What really staggered us was the distance people came to be a part of something so special, it was really joyful." “We love getting involved in all sorts of events in Godalming, but ChoirBLAST for us was incredible - to have our choir perform in front of 1000 people in our home town was just an exquisite event.”

5 EQUAL Sponsors = £1,500.00 each

We are looking for 5 sponsors all to give £1,500 each, in order for this festival to come to life. This sponsorship will go to funding the staging, set up costs, keeping environmentally green, and creating an amazing day with memories that people will never forget.
