Cholesteatoma Surgery Gavin Cook

Many of you know and love this little man, he has been a source of joy to everyone he comes in contact with.  Gavin has been plagued with chronic ear infections and recently we were able to finally find a doctor that was able to tell us why.  Sadly he was diagnosed with a cholesteatoma, this is a benign cyst that forms in the ear, usually on the drum.  The only course of action for this is to have it removed, potentially requiring two separate surgeries.  Most of you who know me know that the last year has been fairly difficult for us on multiple fronts and this put the possibility of surgery for Gavin at great risk.  If G-Man can't get the surgery the tumor will continue to grow and eventually start to degrade the mastoid bone which will cause him permanent hearing loss.  His surgery has been scheduled for Oct 11th, but I need to come up with the money to cover the Doctor's fee by the 8th or we cannot proceed and the testing and office visits to get this far have already cost us dearly.  If you can find it in your heart for even a few dollars to help you will be keeping my buddy Gavin from more permanent issues that no child deserves to suffer.
