Chopper’s Charity Ride for Wagmor Pets

Motorcycles and mutts saved my life. While one taught me how to escape the darkness, the other taught me about unconditional love. They both taught me the importance of caring for yourself so that you can care for others in your community.

A decade ago, I was introduced to riding motorcycles, which would transform my life forever. I found a new sense of identity, purpose, & passion. I also found the sense of community that I’d been desperately searching for alone in LA. Turns out, that community was on 2 wheels!

Nearly three years ago, during the pandemic, I fell in love with a tiny black puppy rescued from a distressing hoarding house in Bakersfield. He came to me at just 12 weeks old, a bundle of innocence and craving affection. My heart explodes every time I look at him. He’s been my motivator for overcoming hard times, and excitedly greets me at the door, regardless of the challenges faced throughout the day. I didn’t know I could my heart was capable of so much love!

Now it’s our turn to give back to the community that’s given so much to us! We’re riding Route 66, from Santa Monica to Chicago, & asking for donations along the way! We’re raising money to benefit Wagmor Pets: the dog rescue that saved Chopper & countless other dogs in need.

We’re kicking off the cross country ride with a local ride to get to the community involved! Saturday, September 2nd starting at The Bike Shed in downtown LA @9am & ending at Bartels Harley Davidson in Marina Del Rey @11am for a giant parking lot with puppies that are up for adoption! All proceeds go to Wagmor Pets!

Wagmor Pets is committed to recusing dogs in need. They find new homes for over 150+ abandoned dogs each month, and continue to save furry lives across the globe. Through their activities in the Los Angeles community, they aim to reduce animal suffering and find resources for families that cannot afford to care for their dogs.
