Chopstick’s Medical Care

Hi everyone! My name is Chopstick!
Chopstick was brought into my clinic after being found outside by a Good Samaritan unable to lift her front end. After thorough examination and X-rays, it was found that she has a brachial plexus avulsion (nerve damage) in her left leg, leaving it completely immobile at this time. Her right leg wasn’t in much better shape as she has a humerus fracture that has already began to scar down, meaning it was unable to be reduced. Splints were placed on both legs to try and stabilize them, but she did not respond well to having the bandages on. She had already acclimated to not having use of those legs, as the injury’s had been present for quite some time. Chopstick has such a fun little personality and loads of spunk, so I couldn’t help but to give her a chance at life. We are in it for the long haul, but a double forelimb amputation is more than likely in the cards for this munchkin. We are currently fostering with the hopes to officially adopt her, pending how she adjusts after treatment/ potential amputation. Any amount helps towards her care and every bit is appreciated
