Choteau American Legion Rodeo recovery
The Choteau 4th of July Rodeo has been a mainstay in the State of Montana for 100 years; unfortunately this year we will not be able to hold the rodeo due to concerns surrounding COVID-19.
The 4th of July Rodeo is the primary fundraiser for the American Legion Post 6, and without proceeds from the event; along with expenses already incurred, could greatly effect their ability to fund many community causes that they usually support. This civic organization is always there for our community especially when it comes to supporting our veterans and kids. Some of the special groups they help through scholarships and other donations include veterans organizations, Boys Scouts, Lions Club, Benefis Teton Medical Center, food banks, K9 Care Montana, Caring Tree, FCCLA, Choteau Public Schools, Teton Weatherbeater Arena, and other youth and community groups and projects. The loss of revenue generated by the Legions 4th of July rodeo and activities along expenses could cut into their ability to support these groups
Please consider helping defray the expenses and loss of income by donating to the Choteau American Legion Post 6.
