The time has come for the most prestigious challenge HMAS Choules has ever faced!
The Goal: Personnel from HMAS Choules’ Ships Company will be Running, Walking, Rowing & Riding to complete a total distance of 25,760kms (the distance around Australia).
The Timeframe: 08 Feb – 12 Mar 21
The Aim: To raise money for HMAS Choules’ Ship’s Charity - Newcastle Senior School; aiding in securing much needed equipment and resources.
The How: Ships Company will participate in the above mentioned activities and track their progress by either using their smart phone/watch or by taking a photo of the distance covered. All distances will be recorded and passed to the Ship’s Personal Training Instructor by 1800 each day to be input into an overarching spreadsheet. There is no required distance each day, whatever is achieved will help the cause!
The challenge will be posted on the HMAS Choules Facebook page and circulated through social media outlets. It is strongly encouraged to get friends and family behind this great cause so that they can support and follow the progress made by Ships Company. Newcastle Senior School will also be kept updated so they can follow our progress.
Leave it in the capable hands of HMAS Choules’ Ships Company... and remember “Face Difficulty with Zeal” and we will make the kids proud.
