Chow's van was stolen and Insurance SUCKS!

Hey fam

 

Our dearest friend that would do ANYTHING for us had her van stolen 3 weeks ago (Oct 14th). The van was stolen in Oakland at someone else's house while she was out of town on a rock climbing trip. Unfortunately the van had it's catalytic converter removed, the egnition all messed up, the speakers/stereo (which was recently bought and installed) ripped out, windows broken, and graffiti'd on the side with ugly red paint.

 

We found it by the coliseum but insurance is now refusing to pay for the damages!!! She's been jumping through hoops with Progressive since that day.

 

Instead of having Chow work a bunch of doubles at the hospital making her life hell the next 3 months - let's pull together and help her out!!!!!

 

The van is currently at the shop and the damages are up to about $5,000. This is Chow's only mode of transportation besides skating and biking! It's about to be the rainy season ya'll!

 

We can pull this money together - let's help our baby Chow out! Also it's her BIRTHDAY in a few weeks!

The van has been her amazing project these last 2 years and she's already poured so much of her heart and soul into it. Chow's even taking a woodworking program at Laney college to basically make her van even more epic!

 

Please please please help if you can, I really don't want this to fall on Chow, this has already been a really tough year.
