Chris & Laura Smith - Paradise Fire

Dear friends of Chris and Laura (Kroger) Smith from Chico (and the Bay Area) - The Smiths have lost their home in the horrific "Camp Fire" that is sweeping through Butte County. Their home of 16 years was in the heart of the blaze. (Confirmed, see before/after photo in updates.)

While insurance can surely help them rebuild a life, the reality is money is needed immediately for emergency housing (motels), dining out, food, clothing, toiletries and similar necessities that none of us can imagine living without.

Bob and Tricia Boos and I are starting a Go Fund Me page to encourage friends and family to pitch in - the smallest amount helps - so that at the least they can work to rebuild their lives and find a sense of normalcy following this terrible and devastating experience.

Please consider a small donation - $5, $10, $25+ and together we can show our love and support by at least removing the immediate burden of monetary concern.  Thank you for your consideration and may the Smiths and everyone affected by this tragedy remain safe.
