Chris and Amy Painter need our help PLEASE!

This fundraiser is on behalf of Chris and Amy Painter. Chris will be undergoing major back surgery on July 13, 2023. Due to the condition of his back, Chris has been unable to work much the past 2 months. The surgeon says he should expect to begin Physical Therapy approximately 3 months post surgery. Amy has been, and plans to continue, to work overtime to help supplement their income. However, she is also going to need time off to help Chris as he recovers.

If you know Chris and Amy Painter, you know that they have a very open family policy… meaning that if they consider you a friend, you can count on them as family. They have opened their home to young and old in need. They took care of Chris’s Mom several years when she could not live on her own anymore. For many years, Chris and Amy had many different children pass through their home, creating a safe place and family for many foster children along the way. They are very blessed with the gifts of hospitality and generosity. They have huge hearts that are full of compassion and empathy for those Jesus puts in their path to love on.

As you may know, Chris and Amy live in the Atlanta, GA area while their families live in Illinois and Michigan. They are far from family and could use the extra support so far from “home”.

We hope to raise $10,000 to help ease their burden during this difficult and uncertain time. This money will help cover their main expenses over the next 3 months and help make up a little bit they were not expecting to miss the past 2 months as well. This will ensure their main financial obligations are current, expected expenses will be met and new expenses during Chris’s recovery won’t be a huge hardship.

Asking for help is humbling. It’s not something that any of us are comfortable doing. We all need a hand from time to time and this is the Painter’s time of need. They are not worried because they know the Lord will take care of them. We are just asking you to be part of the blessing by letting the Lord work through you to do just that!
