Chris and Paula

Last night (27th Oct 2024) my friend Paula and her husband Chris were involved in an accident which was not good. They lost their 5yr old son, their 15yr old daughter is currently in a very critical condition, their 13yr old daughter has had surgery and their 6yr old son is bruised but alive. Chris and Paula are both physically ok as far as I know but emotionally and mentally they won't be.

This is the last thing they both need as Chris was made redundant not that long ago with his job going into receivership. They also had some issues with their house when we had the last lot of strongs winds. So times have already been tough for them.

I feel hopeless as a friend and can only do so much for them. I hate asking for money but I need to do something to help them with all the unexpected costs while they heal and grieve. All I can do is ask for people to offer their love, healing and if possible a little money just to help. I know anything will be greatly appreciated by them and by myself.

I want to thank everyone for the support already. Thank you to the emergency services and the people who were one the scene. I greatly appreciated you all as someone who is feeling useless at this time as we all are.

29/10. Just a quick update. Unfortunately their 15yr old daughter passed away so they will need twice the support now with the loss of both children. Support for the parents and 4 siblings while they grieve. My heart personally is bleeding for them all
