Chris Andrea Scholarship Fund

Though it brings us much sadness to have lost someone as special, unique and passionate as Chris, we thought it would only be appropriate to start a scholarship fund in Chris Andrea's name for the greater Fairfield County area.  Chris was a loving husband, uncle, son, brother and friend.  He spent most of his free time improving his skills with the anticipation of teaching others and mentoring anyone who would have wanted to hear.  Chris was especially passionate when it came to the kids he coached at Greenwich High School.  He personally connected with each kid on the team, taking pride in their success, and feeling their short fallings.  His passion was felt by all who met him.   Chris's heart was always set on lifting others up, pushing people to become the best person they could be, always making himself available to anyone who needed someone to be there for them.  The word selfless does not do justice to the kind of person Chris was.  That is why we are starting this fund in his name.  We know that, even in death, Chris would jump on any opportunity to help someone who is in need.  He never hesitated to be there for others.  We appreciate all donations to keep his passion for others alive.
