Chris Barth Medical Battle

Hi, our names are Danny and Ashley and we are fundraising for Chris and Tom Barth. Who have proven to us time and time again that friends can definitely become family.

After an MRI thinking Chris’ back pain was a work related injury, they received this devastating news and were immediately sent to the hospital for further testing. Doctors have found 5 masses; in the spinal cavity, his stomach, pelvic region, lungs and kidney. At the moment they do not know the type of cancer but do know that today (March 10,2022) he is scheduled to have surgery to try to remove the tumor on his spine to alleviate some of his pain but first Chris will need a blood transfusion to raise his hemoglobin numbers.

Over the past few years The Barth boys have been through hell. With losing the beloved Patty (wife and mother to cancer) and the life of the party, Fred (brother and uncle), they have had their share of heartbreak, plus some. As many of you know, Tom is an only child and his parents are his world. He is currently not working to be by his father’s side - where he rightfully should be. But what they should not have to worry about are finances. So the Zernicke’s are starting this fundraiser to help support them in this devastating time.
