Chris Batts needs our help

Hi everyone!

On May 1st 2023, I was injured in a motorcycle accident caused by a bicyclist riding without lights. In an attempt to avoid hitting him, I swerved only to lay my motorcycle down onto my leg while going 25mph, breaking my left leg twice. To be precise, my Tibia and Fibula resulting in a spiral facture. The following morning, I had surgery in which a long metal rod was inserted inside my leg from my knee to my ankle. I'm recovering now, which should take about ten to twelve weeks, but unfortunately during this time my medical bills, physical therapy bills, living expenses, and rent are piling up. This is a difficult process for me, so I'm reaching out to ask for help. There are a couple of establishments where I bartend in Austin, including Perla's Seafood & Oyster Bar and The Eleanor. According to doctors, I should recover to 100% eventually, but it will take some time and lots of physical therapy.
