Chris Cushman needs our help!

Chris is our classmate, our neighbor, our co-worker, our friend, our family and a good human being who is struggling. He desperately needs our love and support right now.

To summarize, Chris has struggled with many health issues that recently led to him being unable to physically maintain a job. This came after many years of leading a successful career as a bankruptcy paralegal.

Chris’s health challenges have become even more complicated in recent months. What was once several independent health conditions that led him to apply for Social Security (SS) disability, they have escalated to life threatening conditions in the recent weeks. The lengthy process to get approved for SS disability has left him without income and he has exhausted all resources. He needs our help people!

He has plans to move to an age/income scaled housing situation to reduce his current bills but he has to be able to show income first. He is stuck in a catch 22. He needs that income from an approval for SS disability which might take a few more months. It’s been a painstaking lengthy process and they have sent him for testing repeatedly which has further delayed approval.
