Chris Cute's Family Support

Dear friends of Maria, Chris and Logan,

On Thursday, March 23rd, Chris peacefully passed away, surrounded by family. Maria lost her best friend and husband of 37 years and Logan lost his father.

We are heartbroken for them and with Maria's permission, we are starting a fundraiser to help offset memorial costs, out-of-network medical costs, and provide ongoing support for Maria and Logan's future. All donations received go directly to Maria as the beneficiary, to help her through this difficult time.

Chris is remembered for his infectious laugh and Irish wit. Among friends, he was magnetic and always the center of attention. He had a knack for putting people at ease and leaving you with a smile.

Chris’s generous personality shone through best when he used his woodworking skills to regularly create toys for Toys for Tots. He also donated his cherished hair to Locks of Love.

Chris shared with his son Logan a love for the Red Sox and music. In fact, Chris was once the voice of Ft Myers on WINK-FM and then B103.9. As both the program director and on-air personality, both these stations rose to No. 1 in Southwest Florida under his leadership.

He also had a passion for woodworking which led to many creative projects, including co-hosting several humorous, instructional podcasts, which showcased both his creative and broadcasting talents. He also hosted a YouTube channel with a series of how-to videos that drew more than 15,000 subscribers. Woodworking was both a creative and social outlet for Chris, where he made many lifelong friends in the Makers Community.
