Chris' Divorce Decree Fix

Hey all, its Chris. I'm looking to raise money to help with the cost of getting my divorce decree redone. I did this about 5 years ago for the original divorce. I went with a lawyer I thought was competent with the funds raised. This last week though, the girls mom decided to enroll only Iz into the school district for her new address in Independence. She did this behind my back, and without discussion as our original decree states needs to happen. She asked for Isabel's vaccination records, then enrolled her with no warning to us, after I sent that info in good faith. This goes against our original decree, so now I'm looking to get an iron clad agreement to keep them in Center. The original decrees wording is such that the Center school district feels like they can't deny Isabel's move out of district. This time, I would love to be able to afford the original lawyer I wanted from the beginning. He costs 10K, Angela and I have about 3K available, we have a second avenue where another 3.5K should be accessible, and all this leads to the 3.5K goal here with GoFundMe.

I could sit here and go over all the reasons why  Isabel, and Angel as well, are suited to stay in Center and in our home and out of a different home. What I'll do is just mention the fact that Angela and I have done everything we can to make sure the girls have had a loving, and caring home. Not only that, we have provided an environment where they can be emotionally and mentally safe and secure, being loved completely and wholly as they grow into terrific human beings. This isn't about keeping them from anyone, for us, it's about giving them the best possible future on all important levels.

The entire time I have been divorced I have done nothing but make the girls my priority. Now with Angela, we make all these decisions together. We bought a house in Center to stay within the decrees guidelines, we took the girls for the majority of the year the last 3 years and pay for all their medical and dental costs, along with the vast majority of clothing and food. All these items and costs are supposed to be split by evenly. It goes without saying that we will do this time and time again, but when other parties just do what they want, pay what that want, see only one child when they want, it just gets to be too much. The emotional and mental fatigue and pain all of us feel is just too much. This is the moment it turned into a breaking point.
