Help Chris Dozier get medical care

Hi, my name is Dee and I am fundraising with my brother Paul to help our brother Chris who had a stroke on Valentine’s Day. Chris and his daughter Bethany have been through a lot the last 3 years which has included losing his wife and son. Chris has been visiting friends in Tennessee to help him get back on his feet. Therefore, the stroke happened in a place where he has no family! He suffered a large Ischemic Stroke on the left side of his brain and he has not been able to move the right side of his body. Chris needs to be moved to a skilled nursing facility for Physical Therapy. We have seen encouraging signs including hugs, speaking a few words, communicating with facial expressions and hand gestures. Now we are having trouble finding a facility that will take his insurance here in TN. Our goal is to get him help in Florida where he will have family around him. This will include transportation to airport, airfare, and transportation to the new facility along with first month payment needing to be pre-paid. We will need supplies including a wheelchair, an ALP for compression on his legs, feeding tube, and disposable underwear. Having never been through this I am sure there is plenty we are not thinking of! Please donate to help us get Chris back to Florida with his daughter Bethany, grandson Liam, and myself.
