Chris Ensell Family Memorial Fund

Hey guys. If you've worked at VinSolutions in the websites area any time in the last two years, you probably met Chris Ensell at least once, since he worked on front-end stuff for the longest time. His wizardry with JavaScript helped get the CMS platform off the ground (and then kept it afloat).

This last year seemed to be really hard on him. He was having to battle some very debilitating health issues related to his lower back, and seemed to be getting better. I just can't believe believe it, but he died over the weekend.

And this really saddens me, because he was trying so hard to improve everything for himself and his family. It wasn't that he didn't want to try, it's that he couldn't physically do more than he was able to do to get there.

So, in his honor, I've started this fund to help offset any funeral expenses his wife and kids may incur (or have incurred) as a result of his passing. I don't know if he had life insurance, or any other kind of end-of-life funds in place, but I want to do something to show his wife and kids that there are people who cared about him out there.

There is no minimum amount, and all the money will go directly to his wife.
