Kris Glover & Family
Donation protected
Hi there! My name is Marissa and with the permission from my good friend Dana, I am posting this to help out their family during a trying time in their lives.
On Tuesday, October 10th Dana talked her husband Kris into going to the hospital after being sick for a few weeks. After being at Uniontown Hospital for a few hours, he was life flighted to Ruby Memorial Hospital in West Virginia. It was confirmed that he had suffered two widow maker heart attacks, and that two of his arteries are 100% blocked one of which is his main, the 3rd is 75% blocked. Current open heart surgery is extremely risky, as they fear once they stop his heart - it might not be healthy enough to restart. Kris will need to have a heart transplant, but unfortunately is not a candidate right now because of the damage and how weak his heart is. He is waiting to have tests ran, to see if he is able to have a stent done in the meantime. If neither are doable, his care team will need to figure out a regimen of medication to keep him stable until he can have the transplant. He is expected to remain in the cardiac intensive care unit for at least the next few weeks, as they are taking this one day at a time.
Kris and his wife Dana will both be off of work until the unforeseeable future. They live just under an hour away from the hospital, where Dana will constantly be traveling back and forth. Together they have a beautiful eleven year old daughter, Karlee, who is also right by his side and missing having her dad at home. Having a loved one in the hospital, while still trying to keep things going at home can be very costly. Travel back and forth, medical bills, hospital food, keeping things going back home - it can add up very quickly.
Knowing them personally, I know that they would do anything to help somebody else in this position. They are an amazing family, that would never ask for help. But, I am asking that you take a moment to read their story, and make a donation if possible. ANY amount will help this wonderful family. If you are not able to donate, it is completely understandable. The Glover's could use all of the prayers in the world right now. It would also help tremendously if you share this fundraiser.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. God Bless you all!
-Marissa , friend of the family.
