Chris Gordon's memorial fund

Hi, my name is Carly Mills, a family friend of Chris Gordon’s. We are all heartbroken as Chris's passing was extremely sudden and unexpected. He had no greater love than his two daughter's, Kayla and Savana. He also leaves behind his father, Jack Johnson and brother Jeremiah Johnson. He was a very private, proud and self-reliant man. Some of you may not know but between spinal surgeries, the pandemic and the strike in Hollywood, he was struggling financially for the last few years. With this tragic loss, there are a lot costs that his family will need to cover.
We would really like to hold a memorial befitting of the love he had for his family and friends. The most important thing is to be able to buy plane tickets for his daughters to come to California for the memorial. The family would love to have a simple memorial at his favorite beach at sunset. He and his daughters bonded over many years and made memories at Leo Carillo State Park. This is where they would like to hold his memorial at the beginning of January.
The exact time, date and location are still being decided, but everyone who loves him is welcome. We want to share pictures, stories, laughter and have a few friends play music. We also thought about serving one of his favorite meals, in addition to providing beverages. The family is deciding upon the ceremonial aspects of the memorial as well.
Chris would have wanted all of his friends & family to gather and share memories in honor of him. Let's give Chris the send off he deserves and help him like he has helped all of us. Please see it in your heart to be charitable for this worthy cause.
I know it's the holidays, but it's about to be his birthday on January 1st, which he never got to celebrate. His birthday was never about him. But this one will be. Help us to get Kayla and Savana to California and do this thing right! What he would have wanted most is for them to be taken care of.
