It is with deep sadness that we are sharing with you the news of the death of Dr. Christopher R. Jacobs, Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University. He passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Sunday morning, July 1st, 2018.
Chris was a well-known leader in the field of Biomechanics. He had an enthusiastic passion for research and education and cared very deeply for his family, friends, colleagues and students. He will be truly missed by all of us.
This fund is set up to support his wife Claire and newborn daughter Rae Christina. We appreciate your donations, and encourage you to share your memories and stories with all of us.
